The staff provide great service and are attentive to detail, ensuring that rooms are clean and spacious. I especially appreciated the convenient showers with a flick of a switch.

This hotel is ideally located right on the canal, providing guests with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and the peaceful atmosphere of the water. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with some recently being refurbished, ensuring a pleasant stay. the staff members are friendly and welcoming, showing genuine interest in their guests' plans and experiences. the on-site pub and restaurant offer a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drink beside the canal. In the morning, guests can indulge in a delicious breakfast, served in a tastefully decorated restaurant.

Some guests have reported that the overnight staff can be a bit strict and overly concerned with maintaining a quiet atmosphere, which can be off-putting for those who want to enjoy a lively evening with family or friends.

Convenient location near M61 with no traffic noise. Scenic setting by the canal, perfect for relaxing walks. Good breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant. Rooms are comfortable with all expected amenities. Generous car parking available.

No air conditioning in the rooms, only a fan.

Great stay in Lancashire! Recently renovated hotel, with clean rooms. the pub next door is very convenient, and there's a charming canal path nearby for a lovely walk. the hotel is also very quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's rest. Plus, waking up to birdsong is a lovely added bonus.

There were some guests who were smoking outside, which caused some smoke to enter the room. the hotel staff was accommodating and helpful in finding a solution.
